Expectations for profiles, chats, groups, and activities.

Keep it social, not romantic

BeFrie is not a dating app. Do not use chats, groups, or activities to pressure people into dating, flirting, or romantic conversations.

Be clear and respectful

Use real profile details, friendly photos, and honest intentions. Respect boundaries when someone declines, leaves a group or chat, or does not respond.

No harassment or unsafe behavior

Threats, hate, bullying, sexual harassment, stalking, doxxing, scams, and repeated unwanted contact are not allowed.

Zero tolerance

There is no place on BeFrie for objectionable content or abusive users. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these guidelines, and remove the people who posted it from BeFrie.

Meet safely

Prefer public places, tell someone where you are going, and report behavior that feels unsafe or manipulative.

Report and block

Report anything that breaks these guidelines from the profile, group, or message where you saw it. You can block anyone at any time from their profile or your chat with them; their messages, photos, and the groups and activities they host are hidden from you straight away.

Use reports responsibly

Reports should describe real safety, trust, or guideline concerns. False or abusive reporting can lead to account action.
